I don't know about suing D-Link... my first thought would be turning the details over to the Crown Prosecution Service.

Well, yes, but when you are supporting a Danish server and a US company makes something that breaks it, which prosecution service will listen?

Certainly the US tend to press charges against people from anywhere in the world in their courts (*cough* Skylarov *cough*), and I believe UK law allows for the prosecution of foreign offences ("sex tourism" and spam spring to mind).
