2005/08/02 14:52:00 - Insert gratuitious Eliot reference here
As people might have gathered, </a></b></a>claroscuro and I are moving house, and the new house could do with a name. Not so importantly because hice need names, but rather because DNS needs names. Unfortunately we appear to be a shortage of good inspiration, so does anyone have any ideas?

I'm sure we *had* an idea, at one point, during an ICQ conversation. Search archives for "house", or something, though, because I can't remember what it was. I only recall that it was semi-poetic and made a vague degree of nonsense for some reason.

"Goldbach's Conjecture" (and hence just "Conjecture") got mentioned.

How about:
Stormhold, The Veil, Shadowland(s), Intransigence, Anaesthesia, Warehouse[1], Mousehice, Wavefront, Avalon, Elysium, Valhalla, Neverwhere...

I'd suggest Z'ha'dum, but nobody would ever be able to spell it on letters ;)

Anyway, if you go to Z'ha'dum; you will die.

Shadowland, while fun for me, might be a bit disheartening for senji - since I'm AKA Shadow...

Hmm, yes. If you're a Shadow, that would make Z'ha'dum moderately appropriate. senji, on the other hand, would probably rather call the place the University of Melcena :-)

Nojharas would be more pronounceable...

It's a lovely idea, but... not quite right...

Hmm. What's the Elvish name for the Grey Havens?

Silmarillion good source of names.

Oh, and Z'Ha'Dum is a fun name for a house.
