Irritating software of our time [number 3252 in an ongoing series]

One of the pieces of software I use on a regular (if non-critical) basis is zed, the editor that's an evil hack of the zsh(1) line-editor. It's surprisingly ept.

However, I have two irritations with it. Firstly if, as an evil emacs-weenie, I try and tell it to treat ^X^C as its "Save-and-exit" sequence it Just Doesn't Work, but then training my fingers to use ^X^S isn't too hard.

Secondly, if I accidently type ^XS instead then it says Segmentation fault (core dumped)
