Recently I've been having some education in the meaning of road signs.
- Near this sign is a near-vertical change in the road level, probably accompanied by inadequate and hastily applied tarmac in a vain attempt to level it out.
TEMPORARY ROAD SURFACE
- We have scraped the upper surface of the road off, although imperfectly. What remains was never intended to be a surface at all, but is probably locally differentiable at all points.
WARNING: RAISED IRONWORKS
- OK, I have to admit that I haven't figured this one out yet, not having seen any flying forges in the region of such a sign.
