Computer Fettlation

Last night, I applied the new 80GB disk to cleopatra, RAIDed the old "junk" partition from the SCSI disks to a partition on the new IDE disk to store usr, home, and var on and created a nice new partition from the rest of the disk. The plan appears to be to put half of our current (out of date) Debian mirror on that. # [04/11/03.15:35:05] $
: pts/9 bash[13938] ; df -H

md0 : active raid1 hda5[2] sdb1[1] sda1[0]

Irritatingly it only appears to be using two of the disks on the md0 RAID-1 set, keeping the third as a spare; despite me telling it otherwise.

In conclusion, everything's working again now; and it wasn't too much pain.
