I note that we're quite happy to use derisive terms for Fair Elections when we're worried they won't go our way. I'm sure it wasn't meant like that, but it does feel a bit... wrong.

Which particular derisive term? :)

Certainly "Popularity Contest" is the term I've most often seen to distinguish the raw votes count from the actual Electoral College result.

As to the title; it's supposed to be in my general line of flippancy for these things -- I did reject a couple of original ideas which were poking too much fun at the whole process.

Absolutely nobody is convinced that this will be a fair election.

Well, not quite. Very few are convinced that...
