Following </a></b></a>mobbsy's example I've used

sed 's/ /\

sort | uniq -ic | sort -nr | head -55 | tail -54

     14	of

I conclude that you should have smashed case there somewhere :-)

head -55 | tail -54

What was that to get rid of?

Allegro

That's a distinctive feature.

Hmm, yes. I hadn't noticed those rogue ofs (which should all have upper-case 'o's anyway. Bah, something to fix...).

The head | tail is to get rid of the 681 blank lines that the invocation produces :).

Yes, I'm a bit surprised that Allegro (and not any of the other name-parts for movements) gets that high up.

So how many actual distinct songs do those 16 Gimme's correspond to?

Three copies of Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A Man After Midnight) by ABBA, one of the RPO's rendition of the aformentioned track and Summer Night City, one of the aformentioned track sung by the Female Ensemble of the musical Mamma Mia.

And one cope of Gimme Some Lovin' from Queen: Live at Wembley'86.
